Professional Objectives
I believe a connection must be made between therapist and patient to ensure meaningful communication and ease a patient’s potential discomfort in working through sensitive experiences. Trust, comfort, and respect of each individual’s personal experience is paramount to the therapeutic process and key to long-term success and sustainable positive growth. My goal is help a patient to heal and author their future with more clarity, perspective, and hope.

Theoretical Orientation
I value and use evidence-based practices, especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Flexibility within theoretical orientation is important me, as each individual may need different approaches or a combination of approaches that best suit that person’s specific needs. I have benefitted from several trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT for psychosis and other evidence-based practices.
