Professional History: Gia began working in a group home with teenage girls in 2013 and from there decided to pursue a career in social work. She worked for child protective services from 2016 to 2018. She began her Master of Social Work program in 2016 as well, and completed her first internship at Family Recovery Center leading group therapy sessions for drug addiction recovery including IOP. Her second internship was completed at PsyCare in the IFAST program working with children and families providing therapy and case management services. Gia then worked at a private non-profit adoption agency from 2018 to 2021 as a Bridges Liaison providing case management for emancipated youth helping them acclimate into the world as young adults. In 2021 Gia came back to PsyCare in the IFAST program working with children and families. In 2022 she continued with PsyCare in the Struthers office providing traditional therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families as well as providing therapy to students in the Campbell School District on campus.
