Professional Objectives:

“I have always enjoyed relating to people and after years of working in the business field I reassessed my goals and obtained my MSW. I like helping people get in touch with their innermost desires and dreams. We’ll identify any barriers you may be encountering and design a manageable game plan to help you overcome these hurdles and get you back in your proper stride.”

Theoretical Orientation

Carefully analyzing your symptoms and thoroughly researching the possibilities will help determine which therapy style and interventions should give you the best advantage based on your particular situation. Using evidence-based practice, we’ll use talk therapy to help determine the root cause of your concerns and work to come-to-terms with any issues you may be experiencing.

Humanistic Counseling is based on the idea that we as individuals already possess the qualities needed to thrive as human beings. Using Client Centered Therapy, we can use your life experiences to tap into your native skills and abilities to develop a strengths-based treatment plan. Our ultimate goal will be to help you learn how to independently come up with your own interventions and coping skills to empower you to act as your own therapist!

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focuses on how our thought patterns and behaviors guide a person’s feelings. Distorted thought patterns can lead to mental health disorders, but these distortions can be changed to eliminate troublesome symptoms. Fortifying your personal toolkit of coping skills can allow you to better navigate life’s hurdles and help transform you into the best version of yourself to reach the optimum level of achievement that you deserve.

Narrative Therapy helps empower individuals to become experts in their own lives. Everyone has their own unique life story to tell. Using a nonjudgmental, respectful approach, we can work together to rewrite your personal life script in a way that corresponds with your own life goals.
