Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
Professional Objectives: As a case manager I strive to help children and their families use skills and resources to ensure that they have the tools available to thrive and establish positive habits and life skills. I have a passion for working with children and families and have been for 7+ years. I have worked with all ages, from newborn to 18 years of age. Mental health is very important to me and I strongly believe that having the resources to maintain a positive mindset can help anyone be successful. Mental health is important and I love to help others be aware of what can benefit them by providing self-care techniques, coping skills, and resources.
Things to know about me: I attended YSU for teaching and quickly learned that I wanted to do more than be in the classroom so I switched my major over to Social Work and truly love what I do. I have two children and have been with my husband since 2007. I live on a little farm, which has always been a dream of mine. In my free time I enjoy doing things in the community with my children such as going to parks, zoos, and just being outside. Some things that I do for self-care are journaling, listening to music, crafts, Lego sets, and being outside with my chickens.
