Professional History
Lori Funkhouser, DNP is an Ohio Licensed Nurse Practitioner. She’s worked in the medical field in Gastroenterology and then pursued Community Health. She was awarded as a National Health Services Corp scholar, and then started working in Community Mental Health for Mahoning and Trumbull Counties, performing both inpatient and outpatient services. She has presented lectures on mental health diagnoses and symptoms to Mahoning County Police Departments — a project sponsored by the mental health and recovery board. She joined PsyCare in 2019 to continue treatment in a community setting for both children and adults.
