Professional Objectives
“My goal as a counseling professional is to provide unbiased, non-judgmental mental health treatment to individuals in need of support. I strive to collaborate with clients and guardians (if applicable) to develop effective, solution-focused treatment goals and objectives while using evidenced-based treatment modalities to help them improve functioning and quality of life.”

Theoretical Orientation
“My therapeutic approach tends to fall under Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modalities, where the focus of treatment is on the client’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Focus of treatment also tends to be on decreasing and eliminating unhealthy coping strategies and replacing them with positive, more adaptive coping mechanisms. When working with young children and families, I strive to facilitate a healthier parent-child bond, as well as provide psychoeducation on effective parenting strategies that can be helpful in managing difficult behaviors.”
